The Regional Jobs and Infrastructure Fund (RJIF) is creating and retaining jobs, growing the regional economy, enabling regional population growth and improving the liveability of our cities, centres and towns.
The fund has 5 strategic objectives:
- Drive long-term regional growth through support of economic development projects
- Leverage opportunities to create jobs of the future and diversify the regional employment
- Increase private sector project investment in regional Victoria
- Improve productivity and enhance competitiveness of regional Victoria through innovation
- Improve the liveability of our cities, centres and towns to attract and retain families and young people.
