Dine in the clouds at new cellar door in Musk
31/10/2023Visitors can sit back, relax, and watch the clouds pass by at Passing Clouds Winery with a new cellar door and restaurant now open thanks to support from the Victorian Government.
The Government backed the expansion of the family-run winery in Musk with $169,000 in funding to open a larger cellar door and a new restaurant.
The cellar door expansion features a reclaimed timber pergola with sprawling views of the vineyard and a dining room where guests can watch the winemaker at work.
The menu is seasonal and sourced from the onsite garden to match Passing Clouds’ signature wines.
The new restaurant and cellar door allows the winery to welcome an extra 7,200 visitors annually and provides even more reasons to wine and dine in one of Victoria’s most breathtaking regions.
Tourism is big business in the Daylesford and the Macedon Ranges, in the 2019-2020 financial year it was estimated to be worth $258 million for the local economy.
